Destination Management Company (DMC) Myanmar

After decades of isolation, Myanmar (formerly also known as Burma) opened its gates to visitors and tourism. It is a very popular destination nowadays, although it is still mostly untouched by the tourism industry. We highly recommend visiting this magical and authentic country! Myanmar is an unspoilt jewel with pagodas and temples against the backdrop of a fantastic landscape. Fortunately, the long sandy beaches in the east and the south are still free of hotel parks. The multiethnic country has been influenced by many languages and traditions and is characterised by its remarkably friendly inhabitants.

Mysterious Myanmar, the perfect place for your next incentive

Myanmar shares a border with India, Bangladesh, Laos, China and Thailand and is one of the biggest countries in Southeast Asia. Nowadays you are very safe as a traveller in Myanmar and need not look very far for 4 or 5 star hotels. This fascinating country is characterized by its many different ethnic identities and traditions which make it a kaleidoscope of experiences! If beautiful temples and monasteries are what you are into, then look no further as you will find more than 20,000 of these here! Mass tourism on the other hand is something you will not find here. The long beautiful coastline with the white sandy beaches in Ngapali invites you to let your soul unwind... The second biggest city Mandalay attracts visitors with  the finest arts & crafts whereas Yangon is characterised by its colonial buildings and beautiful gardens. We recommend Myanmar for groups of 30 to 100 people.

Bagan is without a doubt one of the highlights in Myanmar. The enormous size of the complex with over 2,000 temples is best experienced from a bird's eye view in a hot air balloon! You can also explore the complex by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage and have a sunset cocktail on top of one of the ancient temples. Apart from such cultural jewels where ancient monuments show off their historical treasures you also find the hidden tribes of the leg-rowing fishermen of the Inle lake in the Eastern mountains. Here you can sit in a stilt house and watch the fishermen or gaze at the spectacular sunset. The image of the lotus is everywhere in Myanmar and it is here you will find many weaving centers that make wonderful textile products from lotus stems - unique in Asia! A visit to a temple combined with an oil lamp ceremony or a lesson in Lethwei, the local martial art, allows participants to experience the culture of this country in a fun and active way and enables them to get in contact with the locals. While it is true it is not yet that easy to travel in Myanmar due to the many necessary domestic flights, it will nevertheless create the most unforgettable moments - and who would not be proud to say they went to Myanmar?
